Broussard, David & Moroux in the Lafayette Community 2023

At Broussard, David  & Moroux, we love and appreciate our Acadiana community. Giving back to our community through philanthropy and service is a driving force of our firm’s culture.  As advocates, we are always seeking partnerships with local organizations that are making great impacts in Acadiana.

Generosity and personal relationships are at the forefront of what we do. Our staff continuously seeks new avenues to better serve those in need around us. In 2023 alone, Broussard, David & Moroux supported over five non-profits in Lafayette, Louisiana. Each contribution carried its own significance, and we hope that by sharing this spirit of philanthropy, others will be inspired to join us.

For South Louisiana Giving Day this past Spring, Broussard, David & Moroux set the $65,000 match in contributions to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Acadiana. The Boys & Girls Club is a non-profit offering after-care services to lower-income families across the country. It was our honor and privilege to give back to this incredible organization in an impactful way for SOLA Giving Day as they directly assist many of our clients  with care  and resources.

For over sixteen years and counting, Broussard, David, & Moroux was proud to once again partner with the Miles Perret Cancer Services as a sponsor for 2023 Games Across Acadiana this spring. The Miles Perret Cancer Services is deeply embedded in the culture of Acadiana, so they are a natural fit for our culture of service at the firm.

The Acadiana Center for the Arts, our neighbor on Vermillion Street, is essential to Acadiana culture and community. This non-profit works to maintain our unique downtown culture by cultivating the local fine art talents into a unified place for the public. As a downtown Lafayette business ourselves, we take pride in supporting our fellow businesses in the area. Broussard, David & Moroux committed $75,000 to the ACA All Star Series to keep the performing arts thriving as the center of culture for our ever-growing hub.

In terms of service, our lawyers and support staff at Broussard, David & Moroux regularly volunteer with Catholic Charities of Acadiana (CCA) for Friday morning shifts at St. Joseph Diner. The diner is a local non-profit serving those in Lafayette experiencing homelessness and hunger in our community. Aside from the $300,000 gift to CCA from the firm, founding Partner Blake David is currently chairing a capital campaign for Catholic Charities of Acadiana.

We are excited to announce that Broussard, David & Moroux is a Silver Sponsorship for the upcoming Parish Proud Day on September 16, 2023. We will have a table exhibit on behalf of Lafayette bicycle safety , in Parc Sans Souci. Bike Safety is a pressing issue in our growing city, so our firm has committed for years to advocating for a more bike-friendly environment. We encourage you all to visit us at this event and join us in taking steps to better our beloved hometown, as we believe in a vibrant Lafayette. Stay tuned for the next Broussard, David & Moroux annual Bicycle Safety Festival in the late spring of 2024.
